Sisters On Purpose

Celebrating Our History — Building Our Future

The Delta Alpha Chapter of Chi Omega Fraternity is celebrating 100 years of sisterhood in 2019! We will be celebrating this outstanding milestone in two ways: a FUN weekend and FUNdraising! Our upcoming Centennial Celebration is sure to be a FUN weekend for all sisters in attendance. After 99 years on Douglas and Oak Streets, Delta Alpha is in need of a new home. Learn more about the Centennial Celebration and the Building Our Future Capital Campaign on this site.

Kim Hudson White and Fran Bender Rushing have served the Delta Alpha chapter of Chi Omega in many ways since their collegiate days.

These two long time members and supporters of the Delta Alpha chapter are currently serving Chi Omega by co-chairing two exciting events — a Centennial Celebration and the Building Our Future Capital Campaign.

Watch this short video to learn more about the Centennial Celebration, to be held in March 2019, and where, when and how Delta Alpha will be moving to a new home.

With almost forty years on Douglas Street and over fifty years on Oak Street, Delta Alpha has outgrown its beloved home at 850 Oak Street. In fact, the entire chapter hasn’t been able to meet in the house in over five years.

The goal of the Building Our Future Capital Campaign is to fund the construction of a new home for Delta Alpha at 515 O’Neal Street.

The future home of Delta Alpha is projected to cost $1.5 million. The equity in our Oak Street home will take us some of the way, but in order to break ground on O’Neal Street, we need to raise additional funds.

We are kicking off the Building Our Future campaign with a goal of raising $750,000.
